Dental Implants
in Dallas–Fort Worth
DFWOMS provides same-day dental implants at our three locations in Irving, Mesquite, and Ennis. Our board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons have placed thousands of implants using the latest technology — restoring smiles, function, and confidence for patients across North Texas.
A permanent solution for missing teeth
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed directly into the jawbone, acting as an artificial tooth root. Once integrated with the bone, it supports a crown, bridge, or denture that looks and functions like a natural tooth.
Unlike bridges or dentures, implants preserve the jawbone and require no adjustment to your daily routine. Because titanium is biocompatible, it fuses permanently with bone in a process called osseointegration — providing unmatched stability that no other tooth replacement can replicate.
Fewer procedures. Faster results.
Our surgeons offer immediate loading — placing the implant and a temporary restoration in a single appointment when your bone quality allows. We also perform same-day implant placement at the time of extraction, reducing the total number of procedures and healing time.
Every patient receives a complete evaluation of bone quality, soft tissue health, and medical history — including a 3D Cone Beam CT scan — to determine the best approach for their specific situation. Our in-house 3D-printed surgical guides ensure sub-millimeter precision in every implant placement.
The right team for your implants
What to expect, step by step
We evaluate your bone structure, oral health, and medical history using 3D CT imaging. In many cases we can place implants the same day as the consultation.
The titanium post is placed into the jawbone in a brief outpatient procedure using advanced, opioid-free anesthesia. Most patients return to normal activity within a few days.
Over the following weeks, the implant fuses with the jawbone. We monitor your progress throughout. Eligible patients skip this wait with our immediate loading protocol.
Once healed, your implant is fitted with a permanent crown, bridge, or denture crafted to match your natural teeth. DFWOMS coordinates directly with your restorative dentist throughout.
Common questions about dental implants
Coverage varies by plan. We work with most major dental insurance providers and accept Medicaid. Our team will review your benefits before your procedure and help you understand your options — contact us before your consultation.
With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. The titanium post is permanent — only the crown may need replacement after 10–15 years of normal wear.
Most adults with good overall health and adequate jawbone density are candidates. Conditions like diabetes or bone loss don’t automatically disqualify you — our surgeons evaluate each case individually. Call us to schedule a consultation.
A single dental implant replaces one tooth. All-on-4 — offered at DFWOMS as BiteLock™ — uses four implants to support a full arch of teeth, and is ideal for patients who have lost most or all of their teeth. Ask about this option at your consultation.
